California History Standard 8.1.1 -Students understand the major events preceding the founding of the nation and relate their significance to the development of American constitutional democracy. 1. Describe the relationship between the moral and political ideas of the Great Awakening and the development of revolutionary fervor.

CCSS W.7.8 & 8.8. Gather relevant information from multiple print and digital sources, using search terms effectively; assess the credibility and accuracy of each source; and quote or paraphrase the data and conclusions of others while avoiding plagiarism and following a standard format for citation. 
CCSS SL.8.5. Integrate multimedia and visual displays into presentations to clarify information, strengthen claims and evidence, and add interest. 

Introduction

In this WebQuest, you will learn about an important event in U. S. history; the "Great Awakening". You will learn what it was, who was involved in it, and what effect it had. You will do this by doing research and finding the answers to the questions listed below.

Task/Final Project

Your final project will be a "cause and effect" graphic organizer.

You will use Google Drawing to create a graphic organizer to show:

1. The "Causes"- What events led to the Great Awakening?

2. The "Effects"- What changes occured because of the Great
Awakening?
