Madera Unified School District parents are valued partners in our district, where we believe that successful learning is best accomplished in collaboration with parents, families, positive adult, student role models including community stakeholders in all areas of the Madera community.
Parents play a vital role as their children’s first teacher to help to ensure the highest levels of student learning through the development of strong partnerships between teachers, school personnel, service providers, and community partners. The excellence in our school district is associated with parent engagement and volunteer efforts. Volunteer opportunities include helping in the library, office, or classroom, chaperone at a field trip, reading to children, serving as guest speakers, assisting with activities sponsored through the network of Parent Resource Centers. MUSD services 27 schools and several alternative education facilities and programs; MUSD appreciates the valuable time parents contribute to building brighter futures of all MUSD students.
