    High School should be one of the best chapters in your life. The experiences goes beyond the classroom, but in the countless of events that occur. Madera South High has a large student body where you can meet a new person every day. Whether you join an athletic team, be part of the arts or join one of the forty clubs, this is your time to have fun. Many groups will travel for retreats, conferences, field trips, camps and many other exciting chance of a lifetime opportunities. From the minute you step on campus, there are organizations to get involved in. We need students like YOU to be PART OF THE EXPERIENCE. Activities help students feel linked to the school and make your high school years memorable. Research shows that participation in student activities increase students' standardized test scores, GPAs, attendance and graduation rates, college acceptance rates and college success.

    Here are just a few of the events that students can be part of.

    Pep rallies, Dances, Formal, Prom, Lunchtimes, Grub Down, Club Fair, Club Academy, Stallion Boo Fest, Homecoming Week Events (Dress-up, Lunchtime, Student Make-over, Parade Rally, ½ time events, Crowning), Red Ribbon Week, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Canned Food Drive, Give THANKS week,  Door Decorating Contest, Adopt a family giving tree, Ultimate Holiday Give back Events, Pictures with Santa, Staff ICE King & Queen, Treasure Hunt/Great Race, Blood Drive Stallions take on the challenge, Valentine’s Activities, Stallion Preview Days, Kindness Week, Read Across America, Celebrating Diversity Week, Every 15 Minutes Program , Black Light Dance, Spring Fling Carnival, Senior Sunrise and Sunset, Powder Puff, Grad Nite and Sober Grad are just a few to list.
