 Elective Courses

Dixieland is proud to offer many elective courses for our students.   

Physical Education - Mrs. Johnson 

Physical Education is required for all students, first through 8th grade.

 Music - Mrs. Ausley

Music education is offered for kindergarten through fourth grade classes.

Students in the fourth grade learn recorders.

Choir is offered from 4th grade through 8th grade.

Band is offered from 5th grade through 8th grade.  

Spanish 1A - Ms. Gutierrez

Spanish 1B - Mr. Corona-Velazquez 

Spanish is offered from 6th grade through 8th grade. 

Enhanced Math - Mr. Hatfield/Mrs. Jones

 Advanced math is offered for the students in  

7th and 8th grade who qualify for the course.
