At Mountain Vista High School, the staff is committed to ensuring that students get the help they need to excel academically. This is why we have built a bell schedule that allows for extra help at the end of the school day. If a teacher feels that a student needs intervention, that teacher will submit the students name and the student will be notified by his or her last period teacher that they are required to attend intervention. If a teacher has assigned a student intervention, the student is required to attend, unless a parent/guardian comes into the office and signs the student out of school. Intervention is an important tool that is used by the Mountain Vista teaching staff to help students work toward the goal of on-time graduation. If you have any questions about intervention, please call (559)675-4580 and ask to speak to the counselor, Rolando Lopez.
