My name is Jamie Urata and was born and raised in Fresno, California. After earning my diploma from Hoover High School, I attended California State University, Fresno where I earned my B.A., and then my multiple-subject teaching credential. I have been teaching since 2005 where I taught first grade for 9 years then joined the Kindergarten team in 2014.

     In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and son, dogs, and my family. We like to watch movies, play and watch sports, hang out with friends, and travel.
