My name is Summer Martens and I was born in Porterville, California. I moved to Fresno for college and have been there ever since! 

 

I attended Fresno Pacific University where I earned my BA in liberal studies and my Multiple Subject Credential. This is my fourth year teaching. The past three were kindergarten and this year is my first in 8th and I am very excited!

 

I have been married to my wonderful husband for two years and we welcomed our first little one this summer. Her name is Ruth. We have an incredibly adorable pup named Misha and a sassy cat named Artemis. 

 

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, hanging out with friends, going to coffee shops, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
