As the excitement of graduation builds, there are a number of senior events that the Madera High staff feel are important. Many hours of planning go into making these events special. We encourage you to participate with us in making your last few months at Madera High School a time you will always treasure.

Information about special spring events, community college registration, grad nite, graduation and more is included in the flyer that will be distributed in Civics/Econ classes. Extra copies will be available in the front office and VP offices.
WHERE: Universal Studios, Universal City, California
WHEN: May 21-22, 2020
WHO: Seniors of Madera High School who are on track to graduate (200+ credits completed), have cleared all financial obligations, and are not on the Loss of Privilege (LOP) list.
TIME: Meet at the Joe Flores gym for check-in on May 21st before 7:45am. Return between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30am on May 22nd at the (Old) Bus Loading Zone.
TRANSPORTATION: Charter Buses *Secured overnight parking will be available for students that will need to leave their cars at MHS
TICKETS: The early bird cost of the ticket is $170, which includes: round trip bus fare, admission, unlimited use of attractions, FREE Universal Studios return ticket, live DJ dances and entertainment.
SALES: March 9th-March 27th=EARLY BIRD pricing of $170, after March 27th the price will be $190 until sold out. Space is limited to amount of bus seats we are able to reserve. To buy a ticket, each senior must come in person and bring:
(1) Emergency Procedure Card signed by parent/guardian(2) Universal Studios Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement Form
(3) Cash/Check/Money Order for $170 *Credit/Debit cards also accepted!!! (5% Transaction Fee)
(4) MHS Senior ID card
BUS ASSIGNMENTS: Bus assignments are made at the time of ticket sale. If you want to be on the same bus with your friends, buy tickets at the same time. Bus seats are reserved on a first come first served basis.
MEDICATION: If a student needs to bring medication INTO THE PARK, inform MHS Nurses Office, 675-4444, ext. 1141, NO LATER THAN MAY 14th. Students are not allowed to carry medication while in the park.
DRESS: Anyone not dressed in accordance with Madera High dress code and Universal Studio's guidelines will not be allowed to board the bus or enter the event.
BEHAVIOR: Good manners and consideration for others are asked of the graduates to ensure everyone's fun. No alcoholic beverage/drugs/tobacco will be tolerated. All students will be checked when boarding buses and again at Magic Mountain. If anyone becomes a serious behavior problem, parents will be called and asked to pick-up the student. Magic Mountain sets all the rules of behavior, dress and transportation. No ice chests will be allowed on the bus.
REFUNDS: REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE CONFLICTING SCHOOL ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED FOR MAY 21-22 REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR ANY OTHER REASON.
LAST YEAR WE SOLD OUT BEFORE THE DEADLINE. DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE AND MISS OUT!
