I began my teaching career in Canada 28 years ago! My husband and I became tired of the rain and moved to Hanford, California, in 2000. I spent 7 years in Hanford as a Learning Director and second grade teacher. In 2007, I began my career in Madera at Washington Elementary. After that, I became a district academic coach for 4 years. When the opportunity to become the curriculum and instruction coach at Lincoln became available, I jumped on the chance. Both my daughter and I are proud Lincoln Lions and love it now when it rains here!
