  • Here at Sierra Vista, students can learn enough worthwhile things to make a strong start in life, where a foundation is laid that supports later learning, and where children develop the desire to learn more. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and welcoming environment, so every student has the equal opportunity to have a high-quality education.

Respectful : Treat others with kindness. Be polite, avoid interrupting or causing disturbances. Listen to others and respect differences in beliefs and opinions. Follow classroom rules and procedures. Use good manners and proper language. Offer assistance to someone in need.

Accountable : Accountability means taking ownership of your actions and responsibilities. It means giving your best effort at all times. Set both short term and long term goals. Stay organized and always well-prepared.

Motivated : Make an effort to participate in classroom activities. Eat regularly to maintain your energy and nutrition. Take breaks when studying or working on projects to recharge and refocus. Establish routines and ways to stay organized. Seek help if you feel overwhelmed or need additional support.

Self - Disciplined : Put away any distractions. Have self-control and inner strength to stay on track. Stay positive and motivated. Seek support or guidance if you are having trouble.

Madera Unified will set the standard for hard work, creativity and resiliency with a fearless drive to continuously improve.

Graduate Profile

A framework that outlines six skill areas that are important for everyone to master for success in school, career, and life. For our schools, the Graduate Profile provides a focus for teaching and learning. For students, it serves as a challenging set of elements to demonstrate by the time they graduate.
