A new kindergarten through eighth grade school is coming to the west side of Madera. The King Husein School is expected to open in August 2026 and will serve up to 1,000 students.
This new project was made possible by the generous donation of 50 acres of land by SPAN Construction founder King Husein. The new school, named after Husein, will offer innovative learning spaces, including dedicated classrooms for science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), art and music to help foster creativity and academic excellence.
