Madera High School held its first homecoming parade through downtown Madera since the pandemic began in 2019. The parade theme was "Coyotes Level Up 2022," in reference to video games from yesterday and today. Over 35 floats took part in the parade that began over 30 years ago and is one of the longest-standing traditions involving the schools that feed into the high school. Over 500 high school students, 200 elementary school students, and thousands of spectators, businesses, and alumni made the event successful.
