Mission: The Department of School Culture & Climate's mission is to support school sites to improve classroom climate to meet our students' social, emotional, & behavioral needs through positive connections and interactions with peers and adults.

Our department is responsible for the implementation of Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Positive Behavior Interventions Support (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in MUSD.  The School Culture and Climate department also administers the recently awarded federal 2019-School Climate Transformation Grant, focused on improving culture and climate throughout the district.
