Gold Gulch Adventures of Oakhurst has been on our campus several times this year, with their “In House” field trips. Instead of students leaving campus, Gold Gulch comes to Monroe. It provides our students with a hands-on, interactive, educational experience, where students learn about many different things, including gold panning.

Most recently, they came to James Monroe, and the fourth-grade classes of Mrs. Dorado, Ms. Ralston, and Mrs. Diaz were able to participate in some experiences that correlated with what they were learning in the classroom.

Gold Gulch Adventures aims to promote education and advance creative thinking through unique, hands-on learning experiences.
