The Matilda Torres High School Band visited James Monroe last week. Their visit coincided with the closing ceremony for Red Ribbon Week. The Torres band under the direction of Mr. Ryan Dirlam performed several exciting musical selections, including some music from their football halftime show. The band visited every elementary school in the Red Pyramid to gain exposure to younger music students and to generate excitement about the music program.
