PROPER PROCEDURE ON HOW TO REPORT A WORK-RELATED INJURY
If an employee becomes injured while on the job they should do the following in this order:
Notify YOUR Supervisor Immediately.
Call InterAid Triage @ 1-800-367-5020 (Unless this is a life threatening emergency call 911)
Go to the designated physician that InterAid Triage refers you to go to.(Unless you have a predesignated form on file in the Risk Management office PRIOR to your injury.)
After you receive treatment, please call the Risk Management office (559) 675-4500 Ext 272 to speak with Valarie Baez to receive information on filing a Workers’ Compensation Claim.
Note: The district will NOT be responsible for payment of Workers' Compensation benefits for an injury that occurs from your voluntary participation in any off duty, recreational, social or athletic activity that is not part of your essential job duties.
