Students will learn about the six elements of the Graduate Profile throughout their PreK-12 experience and will complete assignments that enable them to practice and grow in each of the areas. In middle school and high school, students will create and refine a portfolio of their work that demonstrates their abilities on the Graduate Profile elements and they’ll give an oral presentation (in grades 8, 10, and 12) that showcases their growth. For seniors, starting with the class of 2025, the portfolio and oral defense are a requirement for graduation. (Board Policy 6146.1)
